I just had an unpleasant experience. After focussing for a long time on a sensitive and delicate email to someone, I left the room for a while to take a break before finalizing it. When I came back, I saw that my email had been completely rewritten, and ruined. All the meaning I had worked so hard to convey was gone, replaced by some machine’s idea of better writing. I don’t know what tab I had inadvertently hit to receive this horrifying insult to my expressive abilities, but I want to send a message to the “futuristic” nerds who think that by removing our need to spend energy writing, they have given us a wonderful present:
Fuck off! I don’t need or want you.
