Given President Trump's strikingly low current approval rating - 38% - people may wonder why in his recent State of the Union address he continued his signature smirking and sneering, seemingly oblivious to most of the electorate's dislike of such overt nastiness. The answer, in my view, is that the president is aware of imminent violence on a more severe scale than we've seen, a scale on a par with 9/11 or worse, that will obscure every policy - from economic dislocation to environmental ruin - of this middle school bully of a president, robbing even the strongest opposition of its force. The proof of this premise is forthcoming: a destructive event sufficient to focus us on nothing other than personal survival.
The ultimate goal of our resulting near demise will a redrawn human world to replace the current one. My expectation that the redrawn world will be an AI-bioengineered one, dominated by an immensely wealthy class, is yet to be proven, but proof is near - in the next couple of weeks - that Trump and his inner circle have advance knowledge that worldwide chaos will arise just in time to make us forget the smirking and sneering.
